Born in a small village in Liberia, Daniel Henderson dreamed of something many take for granted—an education. Despite poverty, war, displacement, and countless obstacles, he refused to let go of that dream. His journey led him from rural West Africa to honorable service in the United States Navy, and ultimately to a life dedicated to helping others succeed.
Daniel: The Boy Who Wanted School is an inspiring memoir of faith, perseverance, leadership, and purpose. Through personal stories and life-changing lessons, readers will discover how determination, education, and God's grace can transform even the most difficult circumstances into opportunities for impact.
Today, Daniel continues that mission as the founder of Change for Liberian Children and Youth (CLCY), a nonprofit organization dedicated to expanding educational opportunities for underprivileged children through scholarships, school supplies, mentorship, and community development initiatives in Liberia.
In addition to his humanitarian work, Daniel is a Licensed Financial Professional committed to helping families and individuals build wealth, eliminate debt, create multiple streams of income, and establish lasting financial legacies. Through free financial awareness and education, he empowers families to better understand their money, protect their future, and achieve financial freedom.
Whether through his memoir, humanitarian service, or financial education, Daniel's mission remains the same: To inspire people, transform lives, and leave a legacy of hope, opportunity, and impact for future generations.
